Visit Delhi to Agra Tour
Pick up from Delhi Airport, Railway Station, or Hotel & proceed for Agra Same Day Taj Mahal Tour by Car. We provide a qualified English-speaking guide in Agra.
Visit Taj Mahal
One of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shahjahan as a memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. A world-renowned wonder, the Taj Mahal sits gracefully on the banks of the Yamuna River. It looks symmetrical from all four sides. We also offer extended Golden Triangle tour packages. Delicate carvings in marble vie with gorgeous pietra dura for attention. Lapis-lazuli, Carnelian, Mother of Pearl, Agate, and Emerald are inlaid in floral and geometrical patterns in the marble itself. Construction of this enchanting mausoleum started in 1631 and took 22 years to complete with the help of an estimated 20,000 workers.
Visit Agra Fort
The great Mughal Emperor Akbar commissioned the construction of the Agra Fort in 1565 A.D., though additions were made up to the time of his grandson Shahjahan. The forbidding exteriors of this fort hide an inner paradise. Through our affordable car rental in Delhi, you can explore exquisite buildings inside Agra Fort such as Moti Masjid, Diwan-I-Am, Diwan-I-Khaas, Musamman Burj, Jahangir’s Palace, Khaas Mahal, and Shish Mahal.
Visit Itmad-ud-daula (Baby Taj)
Itmad-ud-daula has a special place in the chronicles of both history and architecture. This is precisely because Itmad-ud-Daula is the very first tomb in India made entirely out of marble. This mausoleum overlooks the River Yamuna and is the tomb of Mir Ghiyas Beg, a minister in the court of Jahangir.
Visit Akbar’s Tomb at Sikandra
One of the famous Mughal Era monuments in Agra and a top tourist attraction. Sikandra Fort is known as the mausoleum of Akbar. The fort of Sikandra showcases a blend of Islamic, Jain, Hindu, and Christian architectural themes, named after Sikandar Lodi, ruler of Delhi. Located about 10 km from Agra city centre.
Visit Fatehpur Sikri
The deserted red sandstone city, built by Emperor Akbar as his capital in the late 16th century, offers an exhilarating experience. It is a fairytale city with pristine ruins that echo the grandeur of royal court life in Mughal history.
Return Journey to Delhi
Finally, proceed back to Delhi with unforgettable memories and the sheer magic of the Taj Mahal. On arrival in Delhi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or airport for your onward journey.
